Video Services
Madison PhotoPlus offers a selection of consumer video cameras. We also have recordable media including mini-DVD discs, 8mm, Hi8, mini-DV, VHS, and VHS-C. We also stock tape and camcorder head cleaners.
Videotape to DVD
- We can transfer almost any format Videotape to DVD. VHS, Super VHS, Beta, 8mm, Hi8, Digital 8, VHS-C, Mini DV, and other formats.
- One of your tapes damaged? No problem! We can usually fix damaged tapes so they can be played and transferred.
- Foreign Tapes and DVDs converted to NTSC / North American DVDs, or North American videos to foreign formats.
Home Movies to DVD
- 8mm, Super 8, and 16mm converted to DVD. Small movie reels are cleaned, spliced, and transferred to DVD.
- Background music can be added if desired.
- Titles can be added if desired.
Prints, Negatives, and Slides to DVD
- Let us create a digital DVD slide show of your pictures! Almost any size print, negative, or slide can be scanned and a slide show created. Hundreds of images can be put on a DVD that will play in almost any DVD player.

Prints from Video
We can create a print from a “screen grab” of your Tape or DVD. Different sizes available.
Mini DVD to DVD
- We transfer camcorder Mini-DVDs to standard DVD discs.
- We can also usually recover damaged or “non-finalized” Mini DVDs.
Camcorder to DVD
- From Standard or High Definition Camcorders
- From Hard Drive or SD/Memory Stick Devices
- Files can be burned to a DVD movie or to a data disc in PC or Mac readable formats.
- Your camcorder with accessory cables is often needed for these transfers.
Tapes to Hard Drive
Your video tapes digitized to a portable hard drive for use on your PC or Mac.
Still Camera movies to DVD
- From your point and shoot or DSLR.
- HD or Standard Definition.
