We hope this newest update finds you all in good health!

We are happy to reopen our doors to you all at 10 AM on Monday June 15th. The entire staff is very excited to see our customers and show you the changes we have made.  Many of these changes are a result of our store merging and refreshing, others are due to social distance requirements.  We can’t wait to show you the new products, services, and displays we’ve set up.  But there will be some new health policies first!  This includes-

  • All employees and customers must wear face coverings at all times while in the store.  Period.  Anyone not wearing a mask will be asked to leave.  If you are unable to wear a mask, we invite you to use our curbside pickup service.  Gloves will also be worn prior to contact with customers and goods.  Customer face covering and gloves may be briefly removed for passport and FieldPrint pictures and applications.
  • If you are not feeling well or have a fever, please stay safe at home.  We will be happy to ship your items to you.
  • All staffers will be checked for health / fever on a daily basis
  • All high-touch surfaces will be frequently sanitized.
  • All rental and display pieces will be sanitized after each use / showing.
  • Signage will be placed on the floor / carpet to help enable proper distancing.
  • Sneeze guards are in place at all register / point of sale terminals
  • Photo kiosks have been moved to ensure proper distancing.
  • All carpets have been deep cleaned, floors mopped, and all merchandise thoroughly cleaned.

For the foreseeable future we will be closing at 5 PM weekdays and 4 PM Saturdays to allow our staff to thoroughly clean the store on a daily basis.

We hope to see all of you very soon… from six feet away!

Please do not hesitate to contact us via phone or email with any questions or concerns.

Stay healthy,

We hope this newest update finds you all in good health!

As many of you have probably heard, we will be allowed to reopen our doors to our loyal customers on Monday June 15th, albeit in a new “socially distant” way.  While the state has not released more details yet (supposedly later this week), it is safe to assume masks, sneeze guards, floor markings, and enhanced cleanings will be a part of it!  Fortunately, we have not been waiting until the last minute to gather supplies.  We already have healthy stock of sanitizer, masks, and gloves.  Some sneeze guards are already in store, with more arriving later in the week.   Other items are waiting for more information from state and local authorities.

We have been “back” in the store for curbside service for roughly two weeks now, and a lot has gone on.  Not only are we fully set up for curbside service, we have figured out way to bring back services like some passport photos and 1 on 1 lessons.  We have had curbside sales of 1 4x6, $1000+ cameras, and everything in between.

For our long time Madison Photo fans, your first time back into the store upon reopening will look quite different.  Not only due to COVID, but a “refreshening” of Madison Photo had been in the works for over 6 months.  The forced closure has allowed us to remodel over the past 2 weeks, with more to come.  When you next come in you will be greeted to new areas, new counters, new displays, and much more! We will be offering new services, and new products are coming in all the time.  We were fortunately able to build many of the new distancing requirements into our redesign, especially on the lower level.  While we do not expect to have every last fixture, display, and signage in place by the 15th, it will certainly look very different!

Again, we truly appreciate all your support.  We look forward to the day when we can welcome you back into the “new” store! Please do not hesitate to contact us via phone or email with any questions or concerns.

As many of you have probably heard, we will be allowed to reopen –for curbside pickup and dropoff only – on Monday, May 18th.  Our curbside procedures are described on our“contact us” page on our web site.

Our staff is eager to resume a somewhat normal workday, although changes have been made.  Our new procedures include-

  • Every employee’s temperature will be checked each morning, anyone running a fever will be sent home until they are back to a normal temperature.
  • All employees will wear KN95 masks at all times while in the store.
  • Employee breaks and meals will be staggered so only one person is in our break areas at a time.
  • Employee computers, phones, keyboards, etc, will be reserved for that employee only.
  • Additional cleanings of all counters, computers, phones, etc. will be done throughout the day.

We will also enact additional policies and safeguards for curbside pickups, including-

  • Any staffer performing curbside services will be in mask and gloves at all times
  • We have invested in mobile credit card / contactless payment devices to reduce trips in and out of the store
  • All products / items will be wiped, handled with gloves, and bagged before being brought outside.

There will be some other changes to our normal procedures, including-

  • Slightly reduced hours (consult our web site for latest hours)
  • No passport / visa / ID Photographs
  • No FieldPrint fingerprint services
  • No in-person 1 on 1 lessons.

Again, we truly appreciate all your support.  We look forward to the day when we can welcome you back into the store!
Please do not hesitate to contact us via phone or email with any questions or concerns.

We are all living in a strange new world that few of us could have imagined just a few months ago.  As you may know, the Governor of New Jersey has not provided any possible dates for business reopening, other than “eventually”. However, we are not remaining still during these times!  We are making preparations for our eventual re-opening using the best guidelines that are available.  While some of these guidelines may change by the time we reopen, we have already done the following:

  • Sourced antiseptic wipes, gloves, and masks for staff and customers
  • Sourcing hand sanitizer stations for all entryways

Codifying policies for procedures including:

  • Cleaning of counters, kiosks, doors, and all other frequently touched subjects
  • Cleaning of display and rental equipment
  • Proper social distancing of customers and staff
  • Policies for staff illness, work spaces, common areas (break room, etc.), and more

We will of course do more as it becomes clearer what will need to be in place prior to reopening.

Our curbside drop off / pickup has proven to be popular and we will continue to offer this service in the future. We will of course still offer web and phone ordering as well as shipping your jobs / products to you.

We appreciate all of our customers who are supporting us during these chaotic times, and we look forward to serving you for a long time to come.

Please do not hesitate to contact us via phone or email with any questions or concerns.
