Well, it was bound to happen… the Associated Press is reporting that Kodak has officially pulled the plug on Kodachrome! It was bound to happen, but it is a momentous occasion nonetheless…
As of this writing, we still have a limited supply of Kodakchrome 64 in stock, and we will attempt to get more as long as the price remains feasible. Most of us here are planning to shoot “one last roll” ourselves just for old time’s sake….
Sure, it’s not available yet, that’s why it’s a pre-order! This camera has been tearing up the blog world, and if you want to be amongst the first to have one, let us know! Call or email us, give a deposit, and we will reserve one just for you!
And don’t count on finding anymore either, at least not fresh and in date! We get several calls everyday asking us if we have Polaroid film or cameras. Well, no…. and yes?
Polaroid, alas is still gone, as are the films. But Fuji has made a noble effort at filling this void with the Fujifilm Instax! It’s very much like a Polaroid, but uses its own film - it will NOT take 600 film, sorry! But it’s easy and INSTANT! Check out the camera and film, and stop on in or order it up!
